Arena Group is hot property in Dubai

The Arena Group and Harlequin Marquees launched their new Arena Harlequin joint venture at a spectacular party in Dubai on 8th October.

Over 350 guests from all sections of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi events world gathered to experience the latest temporary structures technology to enter Dubai. The launch party was hosted in a newly-imported double-decker structure, with a central atrium, allowing guests to look down into the central bar and live music stage. Situated in the grounds of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, guests enjoyed premier hospitality, often leaving the comfort of the air conditioned structure to take in the view from the first floor balcony and ground level patio overlooking the adjacent Jumeirah beach and Arabian Gulf

Harlequin Marquees also celebrated its 10th anniversary supplying the Dubai party market, with Director Charlie Wright welcoming guests with a speech highlighting the common ethos between the two companies; “We both have a strong tradition of supplying design-led, bespoke venues of the highest standard.”

Arena Director Grahame Muir then spoke to guests about the new venture and the company’s confidence to invest in new equipment, offering clients a new level of temporary venues and environments.
Grahame also announced that the new company had been awarded its first contract:
“Our two companies have great experience and share common attention to detail coupled with exemplary service, logistics and finish. This has led to Arena Harlequin being awarded the contract to supply all of the temporary structures for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championships, taking place in January 2009. I am confident this will be the first of many iconic events we will work on.
