ARENA STRUCTURES WIN THE SED SAFETY AWARD

Each year at SED an award is presented to an exhibitor or a contractor who demonstrates the best approach to safety in the setting up and operating of their exhibit. The award is judged by the SED safety team.

This year the decision was unanimous and Arena Structures, an SED Contractor, secured the award. Steve Whyman, SED’s head of safety said, “Arena was by far the winner – they were excellent and showed the best PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and demonstrated superb Working at Height with all the correct equipment. The company was also very professional at their work carried out under Ken’s supervision.”

Arena Structures has worked with SED for 7-years and is the main contractor building all the pavilions, site office and restaurants. Arena also built Heden, Doosan and Ground Hog stands at the show.

“Safety is paramount in our industry,” said Ken Andrews Construction Manager Arena Structures. “We are labour lead and have to protect our work force, also our company image is extremely important to us.”
