Arena Structures to supply Harrogate Home & Gift Show to 2013

10 May 2010

Arena Structures has been awarded the contract to supply all temporary exhibition structures, catering facilities and registration areas at the annual Harrogate Home & Gift Show, up to and including 2013.

The contract includes all temperature control systems. The show is organised by Clarion Events, who have worked with Arena Structures for the last ten years on various projects.

Arena account director Simon Marsh has been involved in the show since 2002. He says:
“This contract renewal is a testament to the fantastic relationship we have built with Clarion Events. We are delighted to be continuing work on the show, not only building temporary structures over approximately 8,000 square metres but also providing strategic advice on layout and design, to ensure the best use of space in the grounds surrounding the Majestic and Cairn Hotels.”

Sister company Arena Scaffolding has also been contracted to design and install temporary support systems required for many of the structures erected on the sloping grounds of the site. This ensures efficiency in terms of logistics, economics and health and safety.

Clarion Events’ Joanna Bush, Show Director of the Harrogate Home & Gift Show, says:
“Arena Structures’ winning approach makes them an integral part of our team for developing both the short and long term success of our exhibition. There is a can-do ethos running through the company and Simon Marsh and his team have continued to demonstrate exceptional commitment in ensuring that we achieve our goals for Home & Gift in Harrogate.

“The working relationship we have developed with Arena over the past 10 years has allowed us to confidently expand the footprint of the show and introduce new event space that not only reflects the high standards expected by our exhibitors and visitors, but which also complements the unusual and often challenging space that we occupy in Harrogate. As testament to our confidence in Arena we are pleased to confirm our commitment to continue working with them into 2013.”

Held this year in July, with over 900 exhibitors confirmed, the Harrogate Home & Gift Show is an opportunity for the retail community to source a wide range of products from gifts, home accessories and stationary to fashion, jewellery and food.
